What We Collect
This is a marketing website. We do not ask you to create an account and we do not collect names, email addresses, or any other personal detail unless you choose to send them to us — for example by emailing us or booking a call through a link on this site.
We do collect anonymous usage data about how the site is visited, described below.
Analytics And Cookies
We use Google Analyticsto understand how this site is used: which pages are viewed, how visitors move between them, how far they scroll, and which outbound links they follow. To do this, Google Analytics stores cookies in your browser — named _ga and _ga_*— which recognise a returning browser and group its visits into sessions.
The same Google Analytics property also covers our training platform at ascent.sherpa.consulting, so a visit that moves from this site to the platform is counted as one session rather than two.
We use this only to improve the site. We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles of individual visitors.
We also use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to measure page performance. These do not use cookies and do not track visitors across sites.
You can block or delete analytics cookies in your browser settings, or install Google’s opt-out browser add-on. Nothing on this site depends on them.
Who We Share It With
We rely on service providers to host and measure this site: Vercel (hosting, performance analytics) and Google Analytics (usage analytics). They process this data on our behalf. We do not sell data to anyone.
Your Rights
If you are in the UK or the EU you have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to how we use it. Because this site collects almost nothing, in most cases the answer will be that we hold nothing about you at all.
You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
